🧠 1. Estructura básica del pasado continuo

➡️ When se usa para la acción que interrumpe.
➡️ While para la acción que estaba ocurriendo.

💡 Traducción:
— ¿Qué estabas haciendo anoche?
— Estaba viendo una película cuando me llamaste.
— ¿De verdad? Yo estaba estudiando para mi examen.
— ¡Siempre estás estudiando!

Traducción:

Mientras estaba tomando café, vi a mi amiga Anna.”

💡 Tip: Nunca uses did con was/were en pasado continuo.

✔️ Estructura: was/were + verbo + ing
✔️ Usa when para la acción corta que interrumpe.
✔️ Usa while para la acción larga o continua.
✔️ Evita usar didn’t con was/were.
✔️ Sirve para describir, interrumpir o dar contexto en historias.

👉 Escribe un pequeño relato usando pasado continuo y pasado simple:
“Yesterday I was walking in the park when I saw a beautiful dog.
It was playing with a ball while its owner was talking on the phone.
Suddenly, it started to rain, so we all ran home!”
